Main Hearth and Home Series -- The Designer Look

Design Specialties created the anodized aluminum fireplace doors. Anodized aluminum is the highest engineered metal that you can find on fireplace doors. It does not rust and it withstands higher temperatures than any other metal. It also provides shapes and finishes that are not possible with any other material. We have 21 different finishes for this Series. The doors have outer frames and "stiles", the pieces that hold the glass into place. You can order doors with different finishes for the outer frame and the stiles, if you wish. You can get the doors as foldbacks, tracked or twin (cabinet). Glass is available in clear, bronze, gray, solar cool or beveled. You can get mesh curtains or gate mesh doors as options. Designers love this line, and so will you!

The Silhouette is our most popular door. It is available in a variety of finishes. You can order the door with a full frame or with our unique cutback frame. The cutback minimizes the frame protruding into the room and looks fantastic on marble, tile or smooth bricks.

The Shadow is slightly narrower than the Silhouette and offers a smart, stepped radius frame. It is also available in the cutback or full frame style. It comes in many finishes from classic to contemporary.

Shown in Brite Brass frame and Bronze glass. A 3 sided frame with draft assembly is featured.

The Stiletto is a very slim frame door that almost disappears into the opening. Now available in a cutback frame. It is available in 21 different finishes.

The Customizer is the ultimate custom door. It comes in a variety of finishes and has both radius and boxed accent trim that can be added to the door to give a truly unique look.

Minimum frame, maximum charm

The Elite is the door that offers the absolute minimum frame look. It features a narrow frame on the top and bottom only, leaving the sides open for a maximum glass look. It is available in 21 different finishes.

If your fireplace has 2 or more sides we can make a beautiful custom door for you. We have a patent on our "glass-to-glass" corner that gives you an incredibly beautiful door. Any of our fireplace door models, excluding the Supreme Series, can be made as a multi-sided unit.

The Brookfield has a 2" wide frame and is available in a variety of exciting finishes. Its classic styling makes it one of our most popular doors.

The Phoenix has a 2" radius style frame that blends with any contemporary or traditional decor. available in a variety of exciting finishes. Choose either a three sided frame with draft or a four sided without a draft. Available in stock and custom sizes.

The Madison is also a 2" wide frame door. It is available in a variety of exciting finishes. The "Colonial" styling is very popular.
